Crinan Classic Boat Festival is the only one of its type in Scotland. Started in 2007 by Mike & Ross the festival has managed to attract an average of fifty boats each year. The festival is based around the Crinan Hotel and western end of Crinan Canal in arguably the most beautiful corner of mid Argyll. The wooden sailing and motor yachts and the races they compete in are the main part of the show.
 
Not to be forgotten are the whisky & wine tastings, highland games, live local music and trips aboard the Puffer VIC 32. A beautiful weekend for keen enthusiasts but also a great day or weekend out for all the family to enjoy. The festival remains a very hospitable and friendly atmosphere, all are given a very warm welcome and encouraged to come back again the next year..... most do!
