The Loch Fyne business started over 30 years ago as a small oyster bar on the banks of the loch.
The company started with one inspirational idea - to grow oysters in the clear waters of Loch Fyne and has now developed into a cluster of businesses built on a honest approach to superb quality food.
Based in old farm buildings in Clachan, Cairndow, Loch Fyne Oysters Ltd run the original Oyster Bar and Farm Shop, a Home Delivery service, the Smokehouse, the Oyster and Mussel Farm and a retail supply trade service.
Inspired by the Oyster Bar, the Loch Fyne Restaurant group was launched and there are now 46 restaurants UK wide.
The employees are now shareholders and take an active role in running the company. Loch Fyne believe that everyone should have the opportunity to enjoy good food, sustainably sourced.
