About Us

This site has been set up by the Argyll Food Producers a cooperative group of farmers and food producers from Argyll and the isles. They have received development support from the Argyll and Bute Agricultural Forum and Argyll and Bute Council to set up this site.

Since 2007 the Argyll Food Producers have travelled across the UK promoting their food produce at events and festivals. The high quality of their food produce is intertwined with the scenic natural environment of where it is produced and the atmosphere they bring to events is rooted in the diverse region that is Argyll.

However the producers often found that they had no clear way of giving people information about their produce and about all the great things that happen in Argyll and the Isles. This site is an attempt to direct people as quickly as possible to all that is happening in Argyll and the isles.
